Inspired by the traditional Italian method used to make mozzarella di bufala, our Water Buffalo Mozzarella is made with fresh water buffalo milk from local farms. Water buffalo milk is naturally rich and creamy, giving this cheese its signature porcelain-white colour, soft texture, clean milky flavour, and delicate fresh finish.

Our Water Buffalo Mozzarella is made with only a few simple ingredients: water buffalo milk, microbial culture, enzyme, and salt. It is also naturally A2 protein, which many people look for when choosing dairy products.

Each batch is crafted with care using traditional cheesemaking methods. The curd is gently stretched to create the smooth, tender texture that makes fresh mozzarella so special. The result is a fresh Canadian cheese with Italian inspiration, made from local milk and crafted right here on Vancouver Island.

Mozzarella di Bufala
A larger fresh water buffalo mozzarella, perfect for slicing with tomatoes and basil, melting on pizza, layering into sandwiches, adding to salads, or serving simply with olive oil, sea salt, and cracked pepper.

Bocconcini di Bufala
Smaller bite-sized water buffalo mozzarella balls, perfect for salads, skewers, pasta, lunch boards, appetizers, or snacking straight from the container.
